- Southern Phone Company, trading as The Mail is the operator of this site.
- In accessing The Mail, all users accept and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Mail is bound by the privacy policy of Southern Phone Company Ltd.
- For the purpose of these terms and conditions, "users" are anyone that use the site. It includes, but is not limited to subscribers, persons accessing or contributing to the site and advertisers (including those that place a classified).
- Users agree that The Mail acts as a medium through which news and information is published and goods and services are advertised. The Mail disclaims all liability for any loss, costs, damages, loss of profits or offence sustained as a consequence of any use or correspondence made through the site.
- While The Mail endeavors to review all material submitted to the site, it cannot be liable for anything placed on the site that may offend. The Mail reserves the right to withdraw without notice to the user any content that is or appears to be objectionable or contrary to law. The Mail also reserves the right to either reject or remove any advertisement or material from the site for any reason whatsoever.
- Users agree to indemnify The Mail, its offices, employees and agents against claims, actions, suits, liabilities, costs and expenses incurred on any account by The Mail as a result of any content, advertisement or proposed advert by any user on the site or any related site.
- The Mail cannot and does not guarantee or warrant to the user that through using The Mail, files downloaded or delivered via electronic mail will be free of infection or viruses, worms or other code that can contaminate or destroy.
- Users are responsible for implementing their own procedures and checkpoints to satisfy their particular requirements for accuracy of data input and output, and for maintaining a means external to the site for the reconstruction of lost data.
- Although The Mail takes reasonable actions to ensure the site is always available, it cannot guarantee to users that The Mail will be uninterrupted or error free.
- The Mail takes what it considers reasonable action to ensure its content's accuracy, however it accepts no responsibility or liability for any errors and requires that involved persons check their advert or content for errors as soon as it is placed on the site. All reasonable efforts will be taken to edit what The Mail deems as errors bought to it's attention as soon as reasonably possible.
- Users agree to use information or products provided by The Mail or accessed from the site in a manner which abides by all applicable laws of Australia, or any other relevant jurisdiction.
- Users agree not to use the site to send unsolicited commercial material or emails to candidates, individually or as a group.
- Users are not permitted to link their websites with The Mail without The Mail's express written approval.
- Users agree that The Mail retains all intellectual property rights contained in any of the goods and services provided on the site. Users must not breach the property rights of The Mail.
- All amounts owing to The Mail by Advertisers must be paid within 14 days of the date of invoice notwithstanding any errors or omissions in any advertisement placed on the site. The Mail may charge Advertisers a late payment fee.
- Advertisers must ensure that all advertisements posted to the site comply with all applicable legislation, regulations, by-laws, ordinances or codes of conduct, including but not limited to the Trade Practices Act 1974 (C'th), the Fair Trading Acts in all applicable States and Territories and the relevant Estate Agents Acts in all applicable States and Territories.
- Advertisers agree to keep The mail, its offices, employees and agents fully indemnified against any actual or contingent costs, expenses, charges, damages or liabilities incurred in relation to any actions or claims brought by any person or entity against The Mail as a result of an actual or alleged breach of law, regulation, code of conduct, ordinance or any thee action or claim as a consequence of your advertisement appearing on The Mail.
- Advertisers must ensure that advertisements posted to the Site are posted to the appropriate category of the Site and the onus is on Advertisers to ensure that they familiarise themselves with the advertising requirements of each available category on the Site to ensure appropriate placement of advertisements.
- The Mail reserves the right to delegate a category and subcategory that your classified advert is listed under.
